A Réveillon, derived from the French word reveal, meaning "waking", is a long dinner party or party held on the evenings preceding Christmas and New Year's Day.
A Wetlands Réveillon is a product of the St. Charles Parish Satellite Center where the Team Members in the HRT (Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration), Culinary Arts, Interactive Media, Digital Media, and Advanced TV Broadcasting courses work together to plan, market, and host the event.
All proceeds from A Wetlands Réveillon will benefit the public nature trail and outdoor classrooms of the LaBranche Wetlands Watchers Park located in Norco, La.
Musical Entertainment for the night will be Jake Smith. He has sold out local shows at the House of Blues, played shows with Grammy-award winning artists and landing a main stage gig at his hometown's annual JazzFest just before Better Than Ezra and Dave Matthews Band.Read More
